Same Seagate model I bought from a major retailer for $200 more per drive. These were made in late 2022 (vs 2024), but still brand new and working perfectly. Now running 4x18TB in RAID – wish I’d bought all 4 here, could’ve nearly got 5 for what I paid elsewhere. Great value!

And that made me skeptic because I wanted it to be used as a storage drive for my desktop PC. I must say that it is awesome. It is not loud at all. It does make some noise but it's actually futuristic or retro depending on how you look at it. It makes some noise when it is active but most of the time it's completely silent. I got about 16.4 TB after formatting it in Windows. The rest is metadata library like always.

Seagate says "Please Contact Place of Purchase" when looking up the coverage status. 0 hours on drives. Sealed. Fast shipment from USA. Good price. Items were exceptionally well packed, and I would buy them again despite warranty status, knowing how well Exos drives perform over time. Thank you.

Had to send the faulty drive back to China, at my own expense, which was not reimbursed, so that’s not good at all considering none of this was my fault, so I am now down $40. Ultimately though the new one arrived and works fine.
