    The 8F

    Such a good loco. I have owned two. I sold the first and regretted it. Thankfully I have found another one! Please note it is not s toy. It requires B2B to be checked and will not work on poorly laid track. Locos need large radius curves (30 inch) to look good and peco medium streamline at a minimum... large radius points advisable. Set track points are simply a no no and ensure your layout is level! This is s work of art, powerful and reliable. It's definitely an investment and one of Hornby's best!

    Stanier's powerful 8F 2-8-0

    A lovely example of Stanier's 2-8-0 freight locomotive, such a familiar site in BR days all over England, Scotland and Wales. These powerful engines are a must for any Midland region model railway layout.
