A surface test indicated several thousands of hours of read write time. yes, the seller refunded me based on the fact that i purchased SAS and they sent SATA, but don't fall for the NEW scam - these drive are old and used and i will not buy from this seller again. the label had conflicting info, SATA part numbers and SAS FRUs-BOGUS AF
