The Sennheiser RS120 headphone set lets you enjoy sound with the full freedom of movement. It is a portable on-ear wireless headphone without the inconvenience of cumbersome cables. You can plug the wireless transmitter into any digital device or home theater system. Without the inconvenience of the cable, you can freely move around your studio, office, or home. These devices are ideal for long music listening, TV watching, or video gaming sessions. It will become one of your essential listening accessories.Sennheiser RS120s are designed to look and feel good. The on-ear headphones are all-out black. The transmitter base stand has a modern elliptical pyramid shape. The front of the stand is white, and the back is black. With the metallic rod as a holder, it is also the charging station. When you store your wireless headphones, the stand looks like a futuristic decorative piece. You can mount the stand on the wall for convenience or style. The plush ear pads are replaceable so that you can change them after a long service life. These Sennheiser headphones have a nice mesh design on the ear cups to give them a modern look. At 230 grams, they are lightweight, and you can comfortably use them for extended periods of time.The box contains the HDR 120 headphone and the TR 120 transmitter base. A power cable is provided to connect to the TR 120. The accessories box also has two adapters: an RCA to 3.5-millimeter and a 3.5-millimeter to 6.3-millimeter. The TR 120 has an attached audio cable that ends in an RCA connector. The adapters can be used to connect to various types of electronics. You can check the type of headphone jack or audio output your digital device provides to find the proper connectors. The accessories box also has two AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries. The batteries go under the ear pads of each of the ear cups. Most wireless and Bluetooth headphones have non-replaceable battery packs that make them unusable once the battery dies. Replaceable batteries are convenient for long-term use. You can order an extra charged pack and always keep it ready to swap whenever you run out of charge. It will save you a lot of recharging time.Sennheiser RS120s can receive signals up to 300 feet away from the base through walls and ceilings. The volume on/off and tuning control is located on the headset itself. Also, the transmission base has on/off circuitry. It becomes active automatically when the headset is turned on. Five minutes after you turn off the audio source, the base turns off to conserve power. You can select from three transmission channels to avoid interference. A cool feature is that you can transmit to multiple headsets from the same base. These wireless headphones are capable of Hi-Fi stereo sound reproduction with a strong bass response.As a music fan, you will love the wireless freedom that allows you to walk away from your home theater system.     Amazing sound quality.

    I purchased this particular brand because my brother has a pair and found the sound quality to be amazing. They have a great surround-like sound and there is no interference or humming like the cheaper Sharper Image headphones I initially purchased. Rechargeable batteries are a big plus. The setup was easy and tuning to the TV was a snap. Two bothersome issues. First, you can't adjust them to be tighter on your head, unless I'm not aware of it. Most times if I bend my head down, they fall off because of the weight. Second, and I'm glad it's a one time problem, was getting the power cord plug into the tiny space on the base. The base is big enough where enough space could have been created to make it easier. Needle nose pliers finally did the job. But overall I would definitely recommend ...

    May have gotten a lemon!

    After using this product for to listen to TV for several weeks, I experience consistent problems with the reception and volume control. Reception comes and goes "at will" requiring constant "tuning" to continue to listen to programing. This is annoying and distracting. Volume control is "flakey". It starts at the last volume I had it on, which is way too loud. Then after a minute or so, the volume decrease on it's own making the sound barely audible. So I have to readjust the volume higher in order to hear the programming. Also, the "tightness" of the headphones wears on my ears so that I am limited to about an hour of use. Given these product "features", I regret this purchase and can not recommend this item.

    An excellent product

    We bought 3 of these for our senior citizen group that does not hear very well. The other option was Blue Tooth technology, . . . but with the pairing that had to be done all to often, the extra items needed to make it work, . . . we decided on this technology. Buy several if you want, . . . only one base has to transmit, . . . and they work the full length of our sanctuary. It is a very good product.

    Still a great deal.

    Sound quality is great. Battery charge NEVER runs out if you put the headphones back on the charger after use. I have often used them for 4-5 hours without having to recharge. I find them comfortable to wear, obviously, but I also note that understanding the TV is much easier if you happen to have a TV in a room with poor acoustics. These headphones have been a Godsend for my elderly father, who uses them 100% of the time watching TV even when in a room with all of us...otherwise he just can't hear. The only negative is that I like to exercise in the morning, with the TV volume off so as to not disturb my wife and kids, and I had to come up with a band to wear around the back of my head so the headphones don't fall off when I bend over to exercise, or even to do sit-ups. I doubt ...

    Great value

    Recently bought RS120 so that I can watch TV late at night without waking up the rest of family. Was easy to install, works great and does exactly what I need it to do. Sound quality is good, although I'm not an audiophile. Would recommend it highly, as it is not expensive and good.
