    Too Small for my 1984 XR500R

    Seems like a nice filter, but on my 1984 Honda XR500r, the filter is too small. The bottom of the filter won't wrap to the bottom of the filter metal frame insert. Tried stretching it. Had to add separate foam to the sealing surface of the metal frame filter insert so it would seal properly to the airbox. Seems like it is made for a smaller metal frame. If it fitted properly this filter would definitely be 5 stars.

    2003 xr400 air cleaner

    This filter has a cross member of foam on the bottom side in the middle. I had to cut it out of the way in order to stretch filter over cage. I also had to pull out the rubber plug and replace it with the plug from my old filter as the hole in this one was not big enough.
