      Excellent press for the money

      I already own a few Lee single stage presses and for a long time I made do with the Lee Breech Lock Hand Press which was great. It loaded every rifle caliber from 223 to 308 without a hitch. While it's a great value press, it was no good for pistol calibers. That's where the Lee Classic Turret Press comes in. I shoot competition and do go through a few rounds a month, 400-700, the Turret Press hits the sweet spot for me. If I shot more, I would probably look towards a progressive press but for now, this press ticks all the boxes. I can load 150 rounds an hour at a leisurely pace and probably more if I pre-primed the cases but it's a labour of love and not a race. The press feels solid and the turret rotations are precise. You'll only have problems if you"short stroke" the lever arm but ...
