    Great camera , lots of features.

    Does not look abused in any way. Everything functions as it should except the battery door. A small piece of black plastic has broken off the interior body of the camera and the battery door does not latch securely. I see a risk of the batteries falling out !

    Replacement for my old camera

    I purchased this same camera about 10 years ago and paid about $400 for it at that time. But after many years of lots of use, the latch on the battery compartment door broke and so I had been keeping it closed with an elastic hair tie. So I went on ebay to find another camera to buy, and low and behold, there was "my trusty old friend" for sale at a bargain basement price. This one is nice and shiny new, but otherwise just like my old one. The only thing I don't like about the S5100 is that the view screen on the back is very small (not much bigger than a postage stamp), which doesn't go well with my old eyes. But otherwise, I LOVE THIS CAMERA.
