I expected a little more from this book. It was one of those books, for me, where I had to skip pages to try and find more interesting parts further along. I did find them in some chapters but not enough to hold my full attention through the whole book. I didn’t like where the chapters kept skipping from one time period to another time period. A very in depth tale of the the life - both personal and professional of a modern day police officer who works in the most highly charged areas of crime. Most of the cases that he is responsible for have been known to us over the years and his detailed and insightful narrative I found to be both revealing and riveting.
