I have not worn it out yet, so can't provide any feedback on its warmth or water repelling qualities but will buy another color when the colder weather comes and if current purchases meets its specification. I did go one size up from what would be my normal measurements size, using the weight reference as my guide. Example measurement suggested X-large, but weight guide suggested 2 XL. 2 XL was a perfect fit .
