  • Cult Book. Condition just as I expected.

Deep, thoughtful good read. Especially for fathers and those who like "tinkering" around on motorcycle engines.

  • No respect.

I tried to get through yhis book at age 25 in 1980 but got bored by the mid book philosophical ramble. So now at age 65 i tried again. Glad i did. Suspenseful. I saw a bit of memoire and a man tortured by receiving less respect than he deserved at one point in his life and how he dealt with it. But his outlook was enjoyable to read about. Not a mechanics book. Not about Zen. It's a good read about a life journey and facing one's inner demons.

  • Well written and Thought Provoking Book.

This book is more about life in general as seen from a motorcyclists viewpoint. Very provocative and well worth reading, especially if you like bike riding. More Zen than Bike Maintenance.
