    Performance is what you would expect from Shimano.

    Was running Ultegra 6800 FD, and was performing great. The new 8000 FD has a built-in barrel adjuster just like most rear derailleurs. For me this is worth the upgrade alone, one less in line barrel adjuster in my cockpit area. Performance is great, and looks better without the tall lever from previous version.

    Good upgrade from Ultegra R6800

    The Ultegra FD-R8000 has an added feature to adjust cable tension using a screw adjuster. This eliminates the need for an in-line barrel adjuster on the front derailleur cable. Cannot go wrong with Shimano. Highly recommended!
