The COB high intensity beam is very bright, easily lights up a whole room. And the spot light is comparable to a good hand held torch. The elastic head band is adjustable, I'd recommend having it on the tighter side as the weight of the battery pack etc on the side is quite heavy, but isn't uncomfortable once you've adjusted it right.
