PlayStation owners get a second opportunity in 1999 to sample some of the year's high-profile games with the release of the PlayStation Underground JAMPACK: Winter '99. As with previous releases in the series, the disc is specially priced and is available wherever PlayStation games are sold.<br><br>It is important to note that none of the games featured on this compilation are full versions, meaning the gameplay has been reduced to a single level or a specific duration of time. Users can select from 11 playable demos, eight of which are published by Sony Computer Entertainment or from their subsidiary 989 Sports.<br><br>Available on this disc are demos from the following games: Gran Turismo 2, Um Jammer Lammy, Tiny Tank, Sled Storm, NHL FaceOff 2000, Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue, NFL GameDay 2000, Thrasher: Skate and Destroy, Cool Boarders 4, Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return and Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! <br><br>Also included on the disc are behind the scenes footage on the making of Gran Turismo 2 as well as coverage on the Summer X Games with a special guest interview with pro skater Tony Hawk. Players who must have the latest PlayStation-related apparel can order from the catalog included at the back of the manual.
