This is just a note for those that have the same problems to re-seat the cable and PERC, and try *without battery* at first, than reconnect the battery. The item ultimately didn't work. However, the customer service was great and they partially refunded it for the damage. And when I tested it and it didn't work, they fully refunded it. I have bought another one from them as I am hopeful this was an issue with the item and not the seller.
