    Stirrups for my Jeep CJ5!

    After installing 17" wheels and tires on my 80's Jeep CJ5 my wife could no longer enter the vehicle with any measurable dignity. These little CARR Hoop II XM3 Polished Steps were the perfect solution. Easy to install and plenty strong with the included steel reinforcing plate. Took about 2 1/2 hours to do the layout work, drill 8 holes, and assemble the new steps. The steps add a nice touch of bling to my old Jeep and now my wife has no issue entering and exiting my Jeep. Last photo shows location of the mounting brackets for a CJ5. Dan in Denver

    Pretty but ............

    Instructions are confusing. I installed it but the step does not sit flat. It sits up at an angle. I tried reversing the brackets but the holes do not line up so I have to install it backwards. It's really pretty just looks odd because it doesn't sit flat. Prepare to do a LOT of drilling.

    NEW STEP AND AN OLD TRUCK

    Works perfectly for an old man who is 84 years old and still wants to get into his 1996 Ford F150. He isn't as spry or as agile, but still loves driving his truck and this helps him get in and out of that truck.. The truck is built Ford Tuff and so is that old man and his NEW STEP!!
