    More than a scratch

    My purchase of the Dorman 615-175 intake manifold for my Ford 4.6L engine is an OEM replacement. The intake manifold manufactured by Dorman is of good quality and performance. Unfortunately, my particular unit was a scratch and dent sale, but the intake mounting tab was completely broken and exposed the water jacket o-ring which rendered the intake unuseable. A Dorman replacement unit was ordered.

    Fits my 01 mustang gt great! Not clear instructions about where all the hardware should be used, and the thermostat gasket provided was the wrong size. Works great other than that!

    Performance robbing intake..

    Runners do not line up all self tapping screws ..my car lost nearly 30 hp on dyno ....not worth it spend more money and get better product..
