Item arrived very well protected and packaged. Functions as expected. One fan is slightly loose and loud, most likely due to mining or jostling during shipping but this is no big deal. Otherwise satisfied.

        A breeze at 1080p

Even though I bought it used, from someone with very little to no history, I still got exactly what was advertised. A gtx 1070 for under $200, incredible!! Straight out of the box I realized this card is MASSIVE! I'm glad I went with a big mid tower, because there's no way this would fit in a small case. The value for this card is incredible. So far it's played all of my games on ultra 1080p flawlessly. Soon I'll upgrade to a 1440p monitor and likely update this review, till then, my results are astounding. This card is an absolute bargain, especially on eBay. The only con about this bad boy has to be the lack of a backplate, in a mid tier to lower high end card, you'd expect a backplate. Since this card is absolutely HUGE, it's an odd choice to not see one. TLDR: Amazing card for ...

        Don't get your hopes up

Slightly better than my MSI GTX 970 4GB because the Giga WindFarce gtx1070 has 8GB of memory. It's not great should have looked for gtx 1080 ti. Other than that, the fans are noisy, a cheap flimsy cover and no back plate. But for $100 here on eBay price was okay, it will have to do. gtx 1070 should go for $60 which be a bargain. An RTX 2060 Super would been much better or a GTX 1660 be had for $150.

      • Amazing performance for price

GeForce GTX 1070 has comparable performance of the Titan X and the prestigious GeForce GTX 1080, for about $1000, for around $380. How was nVidia was able to do that is beyond me. But this is a great deal for a mid-range card. If budget is on your mind, but want performance, this is your card to go. This model overclockable which can add more value to those who have a nack for that. The card is huge! Make sure the case has enough room to handle this beast. Other than that, the two fans are surprisingly quiet. This was just my inexperience, but a separate 8 pin power output is required and the PSU minimum is 500 watts.

      • Love this card.

The fans on the card are very quiet. The benchmarks are great for an older video card. It is very long for my case, had to take out my HDD rack which I was not using. Love Gigabyte products. Fast shipping.

      • Great Upgrade from GTX 960

gtx 1070 is much larger/longer than the replaced gtx960. I had to remove the hard drive box and clip off the end tabs of the 4 memory card holders. Moved the hdd box up in the case and good old duck tape it in. Games result well worth the price and modifications.
