Will find out when I try to install it on my savage. I'm currently running the OFNA 30280 tank which is no longer available as it's fairly narrow and with a 4 shock setup, fits in the stock location if you make a couple brackets. It's 125cc, so the run time isn't great, but it holds up for a long time and gives a consistent tune from full to empty.
I recently ran across a post where the guy put the HPI tank in, but made adjustments to lower the tank 1/2" or so to combat the HTL (half tank lean) issue. I may try that vs installing this one next season just so I can get some more run time between fill ups.
UPDATE:
Lowering the stock tank didn't seem to do anything for me, so I ended up making a little L bracket for the rear and used a long 4 (or 5)mm bolt through the throttle pivot for the front with a few o-rings to cushion this tank. So far, so good. Finally got my LRP30 to tune properly and put down decent power. I hope this lasts as long as the 30280 tanks lasted me in the past.
