Old Timer sharpfinger
I do like it. But, it wasn’t as sharp out of the box as other Schroder knives that I purchased in the past. I sharpened it myself on an oil stone and it is not sharp enough to shave the hair off my arm yet. I haven’t used it enough to know if it will hold an edge or if I can get it as sharp as I want. I like the shape and size and I think it will be a great skinning knife once I get it sharp enough to shave my arm. I came in a very nice box and could make a great gift. However, my sheath is marked. So, you might be disappointed if you buy one as gift for someone. Mine has a leather sheath that protects the knife when not in use and fits a wide belt. I intend to get it as sharp as I can and keep it stashed away somewhere for those occasions when I need a sharp skinning knife.
