Crafted with precision, the Noritake Silverdale 5594 serving bowl is a testament to the timeless elegance of mid-20th-century design. Originating from Japan, this piece features a glossy white finish accented with a sophisticated platinum trim, presenting a classic look that effortlessly complements any table setting. Ideal for all occasions, the bowl measures a generous 8 7/8” in diameter and stands 3.5” tall, making it perfect for serving a variety of dishes. As a single-piece bone china creation from the 1960s, it requires hand washing to maintain its beauty, adding a touch of care to its storied legacy.
This was packaged very well and arrived in a timely manner. The plates are in great condition. My son was gifted my mother-in-laws china when she passed away last year and she was missing about 9 plates that had been broken several years ago by accident. I was very happy to complete his set.
I love the simplicity and elegance of this pattern. The bamboo handle on the tea pot is particularly charming. Additionally, the difference in the style of the creamer intrigued me, it makes a beautiful addition to my collection of Noritake Silverdale.
