    Just the SNES game, but made for Wii Controls

    I decided to buy this because I love Super Mario All-Stars and I was interested to find out that it had been released for the Wii. I bought the 25th Anniversary Limited Edition boxset because it wasn't a whole lot more money and I would get a few extras with it (CD and history booklet) as opposed to just buying the standalone game. The game itself goes for quite a bit of money online. The game works well with the Wii-mote and can also be used with a Wii Classic controller as well as a GameCube controller and maybe the SNES Classic controller. Overall, if you liked this game on the SNES, then you'll like it on the Wii. If you already have this game on the SNES or SNES Classic, then I would only maybe recommend getting the boxset version for the extras because the regular Wii version is just the SNES game, but made for Wii controls.

    There are a lot of these games on eBay and it’s no wonder. The disc and booklet were in good shape. I tested the game and it was flawless. Who would want to travel back in time and play Super Mario Bros 1,2 & 3? It’s a gift so I didn’t spend too much time but I didn’t need to, I could tell the quality was very good from graphics (a little different from the originals) to game play.

    Stoked!

    I’m turning 34 and played this on the Super Nintendo when it came out. Now we’re playing it on my 2006 Wii as a family. My kids and I love it. Easy levels, great graphics, worked as promised. Only bummer is this version left out Luigi’s mansion and hidden levels :-(

    A must have compilation

    When I read that the Mario All-Stars was ported to the Wii, I had to have it! A staple in late Gen-Xers and millennials childhoods, this compilation takes the first 3 original Super Mario Brothers games plus the original Japanese version of the Super Mario Brothers Lost Levels games and combines them into this super compilation. Though it’s practically an identical port from the SNES version, it’s still well worth the money (since most of us no longer own a SNES). A must have for us gamers of a certain age. Worth every penny!
