Small, light impressive unit
I'm very pleased with the performance of the player with Blu Rays but I was surprised how great my old DVD's also look compared to my old DVD player. It integrates well with my Sony TV and sound system. It also allows me to easily watch content directly from a USB drive which is great. I don't really use it to access online content at the moment so I can't comment on that feature. I wish the remote controls these days had a better way to see the buttons in the dark, my old Sony sound system had buttons that slightly glowed in the dark making the remote easier to find and use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This compact unit performs well - better than our previous Samsung 4K player and half the size - loads faster, and is easy to use with the simpler remote control. Functions well and produces an excellent picture. It may be a superceded model now (MARCH 2020) as we bought it discounted to $242. Great value at this price. No need for another disc player.
This is a typically solid Sony product and does everything one expects. The apps and streaming functionality are the equal of a PlayStation (although not as slick and smooth). Great Match for Sony UHD 4K Television
I got this to match a new Sony Bravia 43 inch UHD 4K Television. It was very easy to set up with one HDMI cable and works seemlessly with the TV. When I turn on the Blue Ray Player, the TV also comes on automatically selects the correct HDMI port. Great 4K All Zone Bluray DVD Player.
Works well so far. I have only watched one movie. It was a 4K cartoon. Set up was easy. I took out the player and plugged in the new one using the same HDMI and 240v cables. Good priced high performance UHD player
I have only had the product about 3-4 weeks, but so far it has been flawless in operation. It has played all disk, UHD, HD and SD media without any freezes or jumps. The machine is compact so easily fits out of the way and very easy to connect with a HDMI cable, only taking a minute or two. Setup is also easy although the user interface may not be a good a design as in some other similar products. I did have some issues in connecting to a wireless internet, but ethernet connection was better, you do need to connect if you want to check for updates. A very flexible quality 4K player
The upscaling to match the 4K TV gave new life to even std DVD let alone Blu Ray. Hi quality audio disks were very clear. I am still trying to figure out if the player can broadcast over the LAN to computers and smart TV, a work in progress. Recognises all disk played so far regardless of zone. Very pleased with it and so compact. The dual HDMI outlets along with digital are very useful when connecting up to an older Amp that is not rated for 4K video throughput as it permits a 4k TV to handle the video and the Amp to handle surround sound in a synchronised manner.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
