Signal went from one bar to four bars. I live in a rural area with lots of tall trees. I mounted the outside antenna on the end of my house pointed toward the tower, about 20 feet above ground, and the inside antenna on the ceiling about 40 feet away from the outside unit. Signal strength on phone inside went from -116 db to -73 db. My only complaint is that the screws for mounting the outside antenna to the bracket were too short, I had to find longer ones.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

From deep fringe signal to in city reception
I live in a very rural area. I used to get 1 bar in my house (if I was luck), but I could get 3 bars on the roof of my house (single story) if I aim it directly at the tower. This product turns that 3 bars into 4 (4G) in my house and 3 bars within at least a 50 ft circle around my house - and 2 bars at 50 yards! I have no neighbors within 150 yards so it doesn't affect them. Installing the antenna was the hardest part of the installation! I could have mounted it in my attic space but that would have presented more of a problem. I made a mast out of PVC pipe and attached it to the side of my house. I'm very happy with this product and recommend it _IF_ you can get at least 2 bars worth of signal somewhere within the length of wire (50 ft) which comes with the unit. It has to have signal before it can boost signal! Another con is when power is out the unit doesn't work, BUT: I created a battery pack to replace power in emergencies.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works great for us.
Made a huge difference in our cell phone usability. Using a signal meter app, we were getting around 120 db which was barely usable. Now our signal is around 95db, plus or minus a few db's. The antenna is about 15 feet above ground and pointing through the trees. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again. Working better than I expected! Simple install, instant fix for our weak cell reception in the house
We mounted the antenna to a pvc pipe about 10' long, and secured that to the gable end of the house, extending about 9' above the roofline, with the antenna pointing toward the nearest cell tower, which is over a 300' hill. The antenna cord was plenty long to reach down to the mud board and into the basement, where I mounted the booster and directional antenna. I connected both cords and fired up the booster, all lights went green right away, and we had sufficient signal throughout the house and the attached garage to send/receive calls and texts. The house is 90' long including the garage, and there is no dead spot in the house, garage or basement now! I would recommend this as an easy fix to little or no signal within your house or building, as long as you can get signal outside the building or very close nearby.
