  • Matting made easy

It is easy to load and use. Even with a bad hand, the trigger is easy to pull. The one drawback, which Logan has now addressed with a new stapler, is that you MUST position the frame against something so that the frame doesn't try to travel when the pins are inserted, especially into a hardwood frame. I would also suggest a wider back "Foot" to increase the side to side stability like my Fletcher has.

  • Works great until it doesn't

I give this point setter a limited recommendation. I've had several of these. I use them quite a lot. They work fine at first but after a while they stop working and have to be replaced. My best guess as to why is that the mechanism becomes misaligned through use and though the action still functions, the points first start getting stuck and later don't issue at all. I've cleaned it, disassembled it (to the limited extent possible) & replaced the points numerous times, but once it quits, it's over. When it's working it's a great framing tool. I just wish it was easier to repair or adjust.

  • A good purchase!

I have recently started framing pictures again and when I saw the Logan Point Driver online, I thought it would be a great addition to my tools. I have just completed a framing project and used it for the first time, and I am very impressed with the ease of use and the quality of this tool. I can't yet speak to its durability, but given the quality of its construction I believe it will last a long time. Highly recommended!

  • Top of the line product

This is an excellent point driver, don’t let the low cost fool you, and this works better than most expensive brands, easy to use and takes both flexi and rigid points.

  • Can not imagine a better device for intalling picures securely

AS we repair and restore picture frames this machine has revolutionized the task of installing pictures and p[photographs into these frames. It is easy to use, well made and works like a charm. I have no hesitation in recommending this stapler and its flat staples.

  • Best tool for framing art or photos

I wish I knew about this tool a long time ago. I have been hand pushing glazing points into frames for a long time. I met my match with some hard oak frames. I told myself there must be something out there that would work with framing the backs of these frames. I found this device. I have used it once so far on one of these hard oak frames and it worked like a charm. No regrets with this purchase. Can’t wait to try it again. I work mostly with older frames, as I pick up old dirty prints and artwork and clean them up and reframe them. I received two different types of points with the tool. One for hardwood and one for softwood. I used the hardwood points. They went in easily and held everything in place. I recommend this device to anyone that likes to reframe or use on new frames.

  • Good Quality and Seem to Work Well

This is based on only having it a short time, but I was impressed how easily I secured the one picture I mounted. It also looks a lot more professional than nails... I will not give it hard use, it is for my hobby doing scroll saw pictures. I do not know about it's longevity but I'm please and feel it will serve my purposes.

  • Secures pictures easily.

Makes framing easy. Having framed pictures in wooden frames in the past, using nails, I was pleasantly surprised how easy this tool makes it to complete projects now.

  • Easy to use

I have struggled for years framing and reframing pictures, photos and artwork. I've used glaziers points, staples, and small nail. This gadget is so easy to use(wish I had bought it years ago) and looks professional when done. I think it is well worth the money!

  • An artist must-have

When I was out of town for a plein air event, a friend loaned me her point driver. After prepping one painting to hang in no time, I was determined to get one for myself. Very pleased that I found one at a great price! No more struggling or tape jobs, just line the point driver up and squeeze. Anyone can do it!
