You don't need brawn to use a Braun
Whether it be Braun, Phillips and other electric shavers there seem to remain small areas where whiskers seem immune to blade action (circular or backwards/forwards). No better electric razor on the world market in 50 years of my use!
Have used Braun for years. I usually upgrade each 6 years or so but between times replace the foil and cutters annually. It is possible I do not need to replace them so often but after cleaning regularly and daily use of a hard beard and my means to afford this affordable product I just do. I get better results of course since the blades must dull and the super hard foil thins. Braun shavers must be less damaging than the blade type that creates millions of little damaging nicks to ones face over time. The closest shave yet
I have had a Braun 7 shaver for three years, now. It was overdue for a head replacement, but was still giving a good, clean shave. The new head made a huge difference - after two or three days, my beard growth adjusted to the new cutting foil, and I now get a nigh-on perfectly smooth shave every time, with different lengths of 'beard'.
