Strong and Dependable
Couldn't be happier! This 8 Qt. Kitchenaid Mixer is a powerhouse and yet simple and easy to use. The attachments can be changed easily and the speed adjustments are smooth and QUIET, Love! SO glad I made the upgrade from the 7 Qt., what a difference in the bowl size/capacity! And thankful that the overall size of the machine is basically the same, no need to find or make a new area on my counter!!

Great with a glitch
Mixer works great. Plenty of power making heavy sticky dough, machine never even strained. Problem comes in that to put mixing bowl in and out you have to drop attachment off power head and remove with the bowl or turn it almost sideways with mix falling out.

Light duty commercial mixer
I can't see this mixer lasting for very long in a commercial environment, but for heavy household use, I don't think you could get any better for the money. It is powerful, and the super deep 8qt. mixing bowl eliminates most of the splattering issues.
