    Replacement

    This was a replacement for a 4830 that had a broken auto feed. Currently printing client returns as we speak.

    Great, old Epson printer.

    I had one of these 8-9 years ago and loved it then. Its fast, quiet and has almost no maintenance other than keeping the ink on hand. When mine died, a year or so ago, they had already stopped making them so I went for another Epson, the ET-2800. Huge mistake. The thing is slow, noisy and requires difficult maintenance, as in disassembling the thing to clean out the clogged ink jets. For this you need a $20 kit. Also a "Maintenance Well" that is used to hold old ink on automatic cleanouts needs to be replaced periodically. Another $13. Ugh. So it was a miracle when I saw a "new" that is to say unused WP-4020 available on ebay.
