    Overall great game

A (albeit, slightly) improved version of the original Dreamcast version, with a new feature that syncs with the GameBoy Advance, if you still own one. Most people nowadays no longer own a Sega Dreamcast (myself included) and still would like to own this now classic game, and since many folks still own a Nintendo Wii (which is backwards compatible with Gamecube games) it only makes sense to own the Directors Cut edition. I do wish the game developers would’ve addressed a few issues with the camera angles and glitches that interfere with gameplay at times, but overall is still an improvement from the original. The graphics are improved, but only by a small margin. Still worth the money. Great game that is a must own for any real STH fan.

Good, but wish it wouldn't crash

I bought this item and enjoyed it quite a bit! The only issue I have with this product is that the game will crash at the credits for no reason whatsoever.

  • A Great Game for any Sonic The Hedgehog Fan!

This remake of Sonic Adventure for the Nintendo GameCube is by all means a fantastic game. It may be a bit on the older side now, but it has aged very well, in my opinion. The graphics, while not as advanced as we have now, were very good for their time, but that doesn't mean they are bad. The gameplay plays generally the same way as any 3D Sonic game today, so it will be easy to pick up and play if you have experienced those. The controls are easy to learn, so that aspect shouldn't be a problem. With six different characters to play as, you will get hours of fun from this game. And that's not to mention the "Trial" mode, "Mission" mode, and all the others. Overall, while it may be about 13 years old, it is a definitely a great buy for anyone with a GameCube or a Wii (the Wii can play GameCube games). It still provides the same fast-paced action of any other Sonic game. If you like Sonic, or want to try out a Sonic game if you haven't already, this is a great game to get.

  • Perfectly executed masterpiece

Although an older title, Sonic Adventure DX is an excellent remake for its time and has aged well. The gameplay is more adventure based than expected but still retains the nostalgic super-speed-run levels to accompany them. In addition, one gets to play as 6 different characters each with their individual abilities. The levels are huge and highly detailed, and the adventure fields are fun and easier to navigate than they seem. Overall, the game is worth playing and recommended for anyone who likes Sonic, GameCube or super speed action games

  • Sonic Adventure is such a classic

This game is lots of fun to play. It's really amazing to see another company was on nintendo's level of making an open world adventure game, back in 1998. The graphics are ahead of their time, and although the facial animation is totally clunky, it kind of adds to it's charm. After all, you can't expect it to be visually amazing, knowing when it was made. But the environments are great and the gameplay is sooo fluid it's actually crazy. With such good controls it makes you even forget that it's an older game, and it's super enjoyable.

  • play sonic adventure

It's a good game the only story I didn't like going through was Big the cat. The only other problems are the camera hasn't aged well, voice direction could of been better but they fixed in later sonic games, and the animation in the cut scenes can be weird. Overall I enjoyed sonic adventure

  • Nostalgic and still great

Sonic Adventure DX is a classic gamecube hit. It was one I played as a young kid and absolutely adored the game, especially with the newly introduced world hub areas into the sonic universe. The entire game has warmed my heart to play again and still holds up as a really enjoyable title.

  • Such a classic game with bonus features

The game plays great, of course it’s old but it was part of my childhood so I had to re-purchase it. I love this game.

  • Sonic Adventure is always good

The Sonic Adventure games are still ones that I come back and play. Newer Sonic games haven't hit the mark so its nice playing a 3D Sonic with controls that feel good and interesting worlds/side objectives.

  • Son loves it

This was a replacement for one we had that got messed up. I can't say anything about my personal experience but my 12yo son loves the game. So much, he had to get a replacement for it.
