I am glad I didn't review this when I first bought it. At first I was very happy with it. It may have been a coincidence but after a few days when I decided to put batteries into it I began having trouble getting it to turn on. If/when I did get something on the display it was all garbled. I removed the batteries, plugged it back in and it still did the garbled trick. So, I left it unplugged a couple days, and it seemed to work ok for the short period I used it. However, it wouldn't turn back on a day or so later. Now I just keep i9t unplugged and plug it in when I need it and it seems to work, but honestly it is a PITA to do this. I consider this calculator one of the worst purchases I have made. Canon P23-DH V. Judging by previous experience with other items I believe it is getting some static in the circuitry which will dissipate only by removing it from the power source until it gets it out of its system. I would certainly not recommend this piece of junk to anyone. It came with 12 rolls of paper which would probably last the average consumer 25 years, but there were no print cartridges, so I had to buy them separate. Now I have paper and cartridges and a calculator that only works when it feels like it.

I only needed a side paper printable calculator and this was good enough. I bought a new print roller online to match this older model. It was worth it. Most of the time I only use the digital print out. It will hold up enough for me to get good use out of it for what I paid.
