One battery will provide up to 6,000 hours of power. An external microphone amp can also be used as a power supply. Phantom power is not supported.The Sony clip lavalier microphone has an XLR 3-pin output plug type. With the XLR connector, Sony’s wired lavalier condenser mic is compatible with most professional audio equipment and accessories. These microphones feature an electret condenser capsule type.
