    Overall a good deal, but a couple of things to work around

    I'm using this with a Pasasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40. The flash works side-by-side pointing in the same direction as the camera. It doesn't sync correctly on the primary (single) flash, but does on the red-eye setting (2nd flash). With no attenuation feature (I have not fully explored using the camera manual settings, but don't expect much as the aperture range is small), it overexposes at distances less than 18 or 20 ft. I had good results at about 35 ft. I plan to look for a ball mount shoe so I can use ceiling reflection. I don't see a practical place to attach a neutral density filter. The mini tripod just supports the camera & flash on the bar, when they are set very close together. A larger tripod would be more useful. However, a heavier camera would likely provide better stability too.
