    Sony ZSPS50 review

    Very disappointed with the sound quality,as it sounds a bit tinny and the radio tuning isn't very exact on weaker station signals, but over all it looks very pleasing. I needed something small to fit a designated spot in my caravan so i guess quality sound is the trade off. I chose Sony because it used to be a high quality product.

    OK, not great.

    Looks nice, reasonable sound but a bit disappointing, compared to the sound quality of other Sony products I have owned over many decades. Given the large size of the speakers, I expected better. Gets the job done as a kitchen radio. I wouldn't use it for much else.

    Great little unit for a great price.

    Good little unit with great features. The sound is good, no static. The CD player works well and I love the USB and audio playback.The radio also features am and FM, which is a bonus as most players only have FM. I also like the fact that it is portable and will operate with batteries. The only con for this unit is that it doesn't come with a remote control.

    First to correct a review that said this unit did not include functionality to skip to next track with CD. It does. And if you hold down button it scrubs forward and backward too. Radio reception is good. Just press and hold the three favourite buttons to set favourite channels. Is it loud enough? Yes for oldies. And depth of the unit makes for a decent sound. Not tinny. Well designed and nice feel to the buttons. Can recommend.
