Skimmer basket
They are inexpensive, I have bought 3 in three years. The design has one thin section in the perforated plastic near the top ring. It does split after about a year. cheap rubbish
It had been used for a week and when I turned and listed it out of the skimmer box the brass handle dropped out falling down the long dropper pipe to the pump !!! The brass handle in hindsight was too short or the "keepers" (receiving holes) are too shallow. I have had my pool for 12 yrs and this is the third strainer basket I have bought for it.
