NOT Genuine Ryobi branded battery
This is no a genuine ryobi battery. It has been cleverly worded to get you to think that it is. The word Genuine should not be in the title. PLUS the image is showing a genuine battery but it is not. The main image shows the ORIGINAL / REAL battery from RYOBI. The batter you get it just the aftermarket / replacement battery. NOT GENUINE battery from Ryobi

usable time only 10minutes
It worked for only 10 minutes. but still the green light shows it is only half used. Had to wait for over an hour to let it cool properly before it would recharge.. I set the cutting blades on high in case it was the long grass that caused the short time..but No-it still only worked for 10 mins & still showed 2 green lights.. It took equally as much time if not more, to set up the mower on the patch of lawn & then to empty the catcher & wipe the mower down. Hardly worth the effort.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

very disappointed with this product
The battery I purchased is faulty. After the charge indicator lights on the battery show that it is fully charged, it can be used for approx 20 seconds and the battery is fully discharged. The charged indicator light demonstrates there is no charge left. I have tried 3 times to recharge the battery using the recommended Ryobi Charger and the outcome is the same each time with approx 20 seconds usage before totally discharged. The battery is advertised as being a 18V 5.0ah Genuine Battery for Ryobi. Unfortunately the battery forwarded to me was Vanon 18v 5.0ah suitable for Ryobi One+. The battery cells fitted inside my pack are only 2200mAh cell at best. So in reality you are getting a well made 2200mAh pack. Not a Genuine Ryobi battery and quality not as good as others.
The battery supplied does not look anything like the photo and the description says "genuine battery" which it isn't. I didn't expect it to be, so that is OK. I compared this one to an identical spec battery from another supplier and it seems lesser quality and it is 200g lighter. The battery displayed is not what is received. Mine only worked for a few minutes despite being fully charged. Then had to be rested. The supplier did offer a full refund when reminded it had a 10 yr warranty.
