    Great product

It's got a good sound and it's a great product, light, just as pictured, easy to use, the only issue I had with it is that it doesn't pick up sound as well as the others I have. If I pull back even the tiniest bit it doesn't catch that and I end up having to put it closer to my mouth than I am used to.

    terrible product

If a products weight is an indication of it's quality then I should have been worried the second the package arrived. Instead I had faith in it and took it to a trivia show where the loudest it would get would let a restless baby sleep. I was fortunate to have my partner's spare with me and used that. Don't buy this.

  • For the money it’s amazing

I put this through a test of different instruments to see how it did. I mainly thought the capsule would go but after the test it still sounds as it did new. I put it on a Marshall dsl40c, a 40watt fender rad bass, a snare and a kick (14” snare and 22” kick). The volume on the mic is a little low so I had to boost it but it sounded great for $6 on all of them. It was a little dead on the snare and Marshall and the frequency range is strictly small (cutting off at 60hz or so and 13khz instead of the posted 50hz and 15khz) so it killed a lot of the range but that came useful on bass and kick where I wanted the >40 gone or lower. It did best with kick and bass for sure. I’m still not sure if it will replace any regular mics but I’ll keep it on hand for future use. If you need a mic asap (getting it literally the next day) and you don’t care about the cost I’d grab one!!!!

  • Solid microphone.... with the RIGHT CORD!!!!!

Do NOT USE the Cord it comes with or any other Balanced Mic cable..... I have a little knowledge {A Little Knowledge Can Be Dangerous.} on ohms Law and the impedence values And I had a feeling that what Another Reviewer had wrote about Balanced cables and UnBalanced cables was CORRECT!!! So, I ordered an UnBalanced cable And Hocus Pocus.... It works really flipping WELL!!!! So, If you are on a Shoestring Budget, this $6 - $7 dollar Mic and an UnBalanced Cable that is about $10 Bucks... and you got yourself a Really Good Mic for Under $20 Bucks. Pretty Impressive!!

  • No good

This microphone, priced at just $8, lasted for just two months of infrequent karaoke use. For no apparent reason, no damage or loose wiring, it just stopped working. It would be better to invest in name-brand microphones, even if you have to spend more.

  • Pretty good

It's a cheapie, and it's a good value for the price. You can't use a regular mike cable with a 1/4 plug with it, if you need a longer cord (and you will) you need to use XLR. It rejects well from behind, which is the reason I bought these. If you want a better sound, go to the Pyle SM-57 style mike. Much better IMO

  • False advertising

In the advert it states the mic is made of zinc alloy... its plastic, light and its sound preference is junk. Its statically around the on/off switch. It needs to be amplified through a mixer to increase sound. Don't be fooled by the three hole xlr type plug. Only two of the pins are used, the other hole is blank. Don't put phantom power through it as it will smoke and probably pop.
