Weighing 9 oz and measuring 3.2 inches wide by 5.2 inches high by 0.9 inches thick, this Transcend StoreJet 1 TB hard drive has a spindle speed of 5400 RPM. The Transcend StoreJet 25H3P features a three-stage shock protection system that meets U.S. military drop-test standards. It is made from a slip-resistant silicone outer shell, a reinforced hard casing, and an internal hard drive suspension damper. This external hard drive offers buyers enough storage space for up to 200 movies. The Transcend StoreJet 1 TB hard drive has a buffer of 8 MB and is equipped with a one-touch, automatic backup button. Connectivity for this Transcend StoreJet 1 TB hard drive is available via either USB 2.0 or 3.0 with a bandwidth connection of up to 5 Gbps. The drive is powered by its USB connection so no external power adapter is needed.

Capacity and durability at a great price
This is my second Transcend portable drive. I was considering a solid state drive for backups, but high capacities are too expensive at the moment. I decided to settle for a conventional hard drive with "military approved" rugged construction. It's working perfectly so far, and the price makes it a great value.
