Perfect for Tie Making
I make men's neckties, and when working with silk or other light weight silky fabric, I have to use a light weight fusible interfacing to make that fabric easier to work with. This Pellon Ultralight was perfect. Plus it didn't interfere with the tie interfacing, by making the tie too bulky. I recommend it to anyone working with silky fabric. I laid it out on the fabric and ironed it on, before cutting out my pattern, whereas the instructions tell it the opposite way. Perfect for Silk Backing
I make mens neckties, and will often use silk or some other type of slippery light weight fabric. Such fabric is difficult to sew without slipping around on you. I find this ultra light iron on interfacing is just perfect for this type of fabric. It gives the fabric the stiffness it needs without adding extra weight to the fabric, making it much easier to work with.
