Considering the high cost of everything, these barrettes are not expensive because they are sturdy. Many newer products fall apart quickly and you have to keep rebuying. These are actually strong, the metal thick enough to last a while. I like the selections as well since the colors are subdued. These are neutrals and can be worn by youngsters and mature people both.
