Good price, Good features, OK performance
Three modes of target identification, Vibration, increasing sound intensity & one, two or three lights depending on target proximity. Good range, up to 5cm for larger coins. The only negative is the very frequent false signal (with new battery) being a single light & beeping. This occurs mid air, nowhere near any metal objects. Turn off/on to rectify. When near an actual target it works very well ( 2 or 3 lights) & is very accurate. For $40 its good value.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

COULD BE A BETTER PIN POINTER
This pin pointer needs a sensitivity or proper ground balance of some kind. The pin Pointer I have doesn't like to help finding targets on wet ground after a few days of rain starts to chat stupidly, and It just seems to constantly chat even when there is no target. The green lights seem just to light up for no apparent reason at times. I don't mind how it when it operates normally, as it behaves some what like a mini metal detector, (in which most pin pointers are actually mini MD's) The 3 lighting system is a good idea, as in letting you know where the target actually is once you have found it and when 1 or 2 lights come on to let you know the target is not far or close by. I gave it a no in good quality, not because the body, as it seems to be nicely constructed, but the electronics and programming ie ground balance. I am no expert when it comes to new technology I just know when I know something is wrong and that comes with long time experience of life. If the company who made this pin pointer, fixes up the sensitivity and any other problems with this pin pointer has, it would be one worth bragging about in my books.
