Practical, Easy To Use Hard Drive Enclosure.
Turns your unused 2.5" hard drive into a portable external hard drive. Very easy to use with no tools required, just slot the disk into the caddy and plug it into your PC with the supplied USB. Good little case
Excellent little case... seems sturdy enough and the drive slots in nicely and easily. Comes with a couple of pads with a sticky back to just ensure a nice tight fit on the drive when the case is closed to stop any rattling. Nice looking and looks solid enough, I am using it to repurpose my older SSD in my PC (which I upgraded to a larger one) to be a fast and useful portable storage device for work (the case and the drive are light enough to pop in my bag for travelling to and from work). My only concern would be that the back just slides on and clicks on but the 'holding click' could be more sturdy.. it can easily slide down with handling....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This case and cable allowed me to use a spare laptop hard disk drive as a handy external drive. The HDD fits without tools, stick on the supplied self adhesive sponge strip (to secure the HDD from movement) and you are in business. GREAT PRODUCT
A friend recommended this case as he has one. It's lightweight and very easy to use. You slide off the lid, place your external drive into it and slide it up to the contacts inside the case. You have a choice of two felt pads which have different thicknesses. I placed the thinner one on the underside of the lid of the case - this I assume stops movement of the drive inside the case. Then I slid the lid back on. Piece of cake! I tested the drive worked and it does. My only small criticism (and it is a small one), is that the backing of the felt is a bit tricky to peel off without breaking up the felt a bit and so you have to go slowly, slowly and there is very little in the way of instructions but apart from that, great!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice case
This is a great little disk caddy. Very easy to use (no tools needed). It just slides into two halves on a couple of ‘runners’, the disk locates and slides in easily, and the two haves are slid back together and located. Done! This case is a pound, or two, dearer than some other cases, but remember this is USB3, and it certainly looks classy and well made. Best On The Market!
Excellent product! Too many disk caddies are sold as being USB3 when they are plainly not, THIS one though, clearly is! It’s extremely fast - I get transfer speeds to/from a hdd of over 100 mb/a quite regularly and tool-less installation of the hdd or ssd is a breeze. They are even supplied with a cable and two sizes of foam “filler” to suit different drive thicknesses. This HD external enclosure is the only one l use, never once had an issue with them. Looks simple and understated, Very fast to install a drive permanently or swap it out. USB lead is long enough for most "reach" scenarios and the two sponge inserts to prevent your HD moving is "simply genius" and attention to detail.
