Asus impresses again, fast sumbich!
I got this for $399 and consider it excellent. The boot time, speed of opening programs, web pages, etc. is very fast. Screen looks good, however I primarily use an external 34" monitor. I love the keyboard feel. Although the keyboard is not backlit, there is good contrast between the black keys and the white letters. No noticeable fan noise or heat and it has had zero lockups, forced reboots, etc. I replaced the 4 GB ram with 16GB for a total of 24GB and it recognizes it and works fine. I run it as a desktop replacement so not worried about battery life or weight too much. This is my 4th Asus laptop and they have all been reliable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Another Excellent ASUS Product
The screen is very sharp and bright. The design and manufacture is up to the very high standards one expects from ASUS. The version of Windows 11 that AUS provided has "S" mode turned on that only allows Microsoft-approved and "safe" apps from the Microsoft store to be installed. For the most part this isn't a problem. But, if you need to install some app that is not approved, you have to cancel S-mode and you cannot go back to S-mode afterwards.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfectly adequate for what I need.
It booted right up when I got it, got my downloads on-board, and has worked nicely for what I needed. I did a full charge on it first thing, and it was fine while plugged in. When I un-plugged it to move around the house, I got down to around 30% of battery left in about 4 hours, which I don't think is good, but I seldom use it when not plugged in, so not a serious problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
