Backing up all of your files or transferring them from another system can be done quickly and easily as well.The 640GB Western Digital Caviar Blue drive uses the SATA interface to connect to your computer’s motherboard.     Good deal

    Works great. The drive seems to have been used in a server and has a lot of hours on it. Here is some stats about my drive from crystaldiskinfo. (Yours may be different) It has around 110 mb/s read and 110 mb/s write. With it about 90% full, the read and write speeds are about 90-100mb/s.
