  • Worth every penny, both for corporate and freelancers, a real time and stress saver.

It takes some time to get used to the directions, apperently the obvious up/down is not so intuitive for me at first. Having said that, this is a real game changer regarding upscaling efficiency as it reduced my work time per project and also hase devided the work load between both hands. my right hand (regular mouse) makes segnificatly less movement and concentrates on real design tools rather than rotating and moving the object. The multiple buttons is a real time saver, both in terms of allowing to define frequent commands (feature selection) and changing the view to standard views (top, botton etc..). I use it on Solidworks and it's fantastic, well worth the 100$ paid for a used one, in great condition.

  • Ergonomics Yes, Programming Not So Much

I like what I call the knob control and the ergonomics. However, I guess I was expecting a better integration to our PTC CREO 2.0 CAD at work. I did not want to spend so much time learning how to make the programmable buttons work. I am somewhat computer savvy, but macros are not user friendly to many. I had to figure out key combinations and entry order several times to program the 1 through 4 buttons. After two weeks, two of them still don't work as I thought I'd programmed (macromed). The buttons labeled T, F, and R don't do anything out of the chute and I only have one macromed. CREO has enough faults of its own especially learning its key codes which makes macromemming a real challenge. It does have two big pluses over the Space Navigator that I had used a few years back. The first plus is its ergonomics with a very comfortable wrist rest and button placement and combined with its weight it does not move around like the Space Navigator. Although I would like the 1 through 4 buttons placed a bit close to the knob. The second is the inclusion and placement of Cntrl, Shift, ALT, and Esc keys that enable my left hand to remain on the Spacemouse Pro without going to the keyboard. I will probably keep it, but I believe that I will have a harder time convincing my company that it saves me time than I thought.

  • Great - But watch out for this bug!

The mouse dog what I expected and though there's a learning curve, it does make it a lot easier to work in programs like keyshot and blender. However, one day I found that my computer had been-auto scrolling on its own! It continued with my mouse and keyboard unplugged so I thought it was a windows error. I couldn't even type in a windows help chat it was moving around so much. I forgot I had the 3d mouse plugged in though. A plug and replug fixed the problem thankfully. Next time, there is a button for it in the lower right of the Taskbar that you need to right click and hit 'recalibrate' and that should solve the issue as well. It's only happened once, but I want to let others know because it took SO long to figure out this simple thing!

  • Great tool! Must have for any type of designer!

I am so glad I pulled the trigger and made this purchase. It takes a lot of frustration out of fumbling a keyboard and mouse! I’m this tool also cuts your time way back because you don’t have to keep moving your hands off the keyboard and looking for buttons all the time. Highly recommend the spacemouse pro!!

  • Fantastic

This one is a fair few years old but I'm still in the early stages of learning so the new modern ones were waaaaay out of my price range, thankfully it still works with modern programs. Its pretty cool it makes navigating the view ports of the different programs easier, usually they all have special ways of moving around which can get really confusing but this way its all the same, and I can use my right hand with my drawing tablet. The product came in decent time, it was packaged well and in really good condition. I have no complaints. It lives on my desk now and will be getting a lot of heavy use.

  • Pleasantly surprised that the device is ...

Pleasantly surprised that the device is essentially brand new. I’m amazed. All of the touch surfaces are clean and it looks unused. I installed the software and started using it immediately. A+++

  • Works OK but...

This is a good quality "space Mouse" even tough it is no longer in production. The display features do not work on this product as originally advertised however, they do not any value to use of the product. All of the buttons work as noted on the manual if your are able to locate the document.

  • A must have for 3D Design work!

Pros: Easy to use. Makes 3D navigation quick and easy. Very ergonomic and comfortable. Cons. Only the price. I bought a used one and saved a lot.

  • I fly spacecraft with it!

I wanted a controller for Star Citizen, a space sim, that would allow me to strafe in all directions. After doing some research, I was circling asteroids like I was born in space baby! The travel is really short and this was never meant for this use, but it works!

  • I like it

I paid about $100 so it was a great value. I withheld a star because the buttons feel a little "sticky". They resist being pushed which may be either the way they were designed or from something that happened with the previous owner.this is the first one I've ever used. I do like having the extra buttons (compared to the simpler space navigator) to keep my hand from having to keep going back to the keyboard looking for the hotkeys
