I love the PS3, at first I thought it was a dud, didn't work on my DSL ready TV via HDMI, so moved it to another room with my Sony 27" LCD TV, worked fine. Must be the settings, my other PS3 (the full size one) worked with my DSL ready TV. After connecting it to the LCD, I moved it back to the DSL TV and it worked perfectly. Use it primarily for Amazon and Netflix to watch movies. I've played it somewhat, with football only. Didn't really care for any of the other games that came with it. It was a value all in it's own without the games.

being used i did purchase insurance for it but the first time i used it ..it kept blacking in and out..i jiggled the cord and the picture would come back on..well after only 2 weeks the cord quit working completely..i looked at the plug and it was missing some teeth in it..had to order a new cord..messaged the seller twice about it with no response..

I've owned every Playstation system from the first one to the fourth one and the handheld as well and I still have every single one of them. The PS3 is an awesome system and I passed my old 40gb one down to my kids and now I'm getting a 500gb one for myself. I have a ps4 and I love it but I have a large amount of PS3 games that I would like to play and just the fact that I need psPuls to play online on the ps4 kind of makes me go back to my ps3.

Replaced old Phat PS3 with this slim, couldn't be happier
Love the PS3 but my old Phat one croaked on me last year. So sad to see it go but I've now replaced it with the slim version and it's great, even better than the Phat. I thought I would be bummed to lose out on the backwards playing feature on the old Phat. I do still play PS2 games, though rare. But the Phats are dying off and pretty cumbersome to haul around so if I really want to play a PS2 game I'll dust off my PS2. Overall love my new PS3!
