    Good wide angle lens for Canon slr cameras.

    I purchased this at what I thought was a decent price on eBay. The lens condition was good. I suspect though that there is an occasional locking problem with the step down mechanism on my lens. Once it is mounted on the camera, it seems to work fine. As always, the availability of these FD mount lenses are their greatest asset.

    excellent lens

    Just received today, may update review after developing current roll. Arrived in case with two caps, a filter and a lens hood (not sure if the lens hood is compatible but it's a nice gesture, and the hood I got with my 50mm is compatible). A bit of gunk from the "PASSED INSPECTION" sticker but there are worse problems to have than evidence of quality. 28mm is a very inspiring second lens, hopefully my photos will not disappoint — or, if they do, may it be through my fault alone.
