DO NOT BUY!
"Unimpressive performance" praises it with faint damnation. Motor seems more than adequate for the job, design flaws make this a one-and-done as far as use in my kitchen. Blender stick comes loose from the motor during use, requires both hands on the blender which means operator does not have a hand free to stabilize the mixing vessel. Speed selector on the end of the motor rather than under the thumb on the operating button, an awkward design flaw. Not only do I not recommend this product, I advise most strenuously against its purchase. ZERO stars.

This is a way better design
We use a lot of it and the NEW DESIGN JUST WON'T LAST FOR MORE THAN A MONTH. So we are going all around to get the old design. The New design bearing just leak and what ever you mix, just leak right into the bearing.
