The Ninja Master Prep 5 Cup food processor takes that process of these simple devices and adds improvements. Unlike older style food processors and blenders, the Ninja Master Prep features blades along the shaft of the blender. The contents of the jar are churned by the blades, creating silky smoothies or creamy sauces. The user is able to control the pulse of the food processor completely to produce anything from chunky salsas to velvety dressings. When blending is complete, food comes out of the jar easily. The push-down controls of the Ninja are different from an older blender as well, and they take no time to learn. The push-down mechanism of the Ninja provides the user with a better feel for the texture of the food being processed. Checking and removing the food is done easily and quickly from the pitcher. The Ninja is easy to operate. Both the large pitcher and the work bowl have lids that act as splash guards when contents are being blended or processed. The motor unit rests on top of the containers and is removable when processing is completed. This is a complete change from older blenders or food processors. However, it adds ease of use, ease of cleaning, and added functionality to the machine. The motor unit is interchangeable between the pitcher and the work jar, offering easy and quick transitions between the two. The large pitcher has a convenient spout for pouring liquids right from the pitcher itself. Both the large pitcher and the work bowl have nonslip bottoms that add stability to the each container as they are being used. Also known as the Ninja QB 1004 , this device is compact but very powerful. Its 450-watt motor can turn ice cubes into ice for slushies or crushed ice for drinks. Great Product!
Have not used it as a food processor or chopper yet but I'm sure it will do the job fast and efficiently just like the blender. The blender works great and I really like having the top motor rather than the base motor. It's very easy to use. Love this product and the fact that it has three pitcher sizes to use depending on what and how much you're preparing. I am very anxious to use them as a food chopper and processor. As an exprofessional chef, I always prided myself on my knife skills. 40 years later, I enter the 21st century with this unit. We bought one a couple years ago and this on recently to obtain a motor lid for the larger beaker which had broken. Our only problem has been the inability to find that lid by itself. So, we got this slightly used unit at a good price. and now have some spares. This unit is a versatile chopper and tonight we puréed Apple butter from cooked apples. one or two spins will chop veg, meat, with ease. very sharp blades, so be careful at clean up. Ninja helix blades a wonder!
This is our second Ninja food processor. A couple of years ago we purchased a small red unit, and was amazed on how quickly the double-helix blades processed just about anything. We especially liked the "bump" method of course chopping veggies and such. Hold it down and in seconds you have emulsified product. This larger kit includes a triple helix blade for the larger blender. Same great results. Lightweight, versatile, goes in the dishwasher
This is a handy addition to my kitchen! It chops onions, which is a task that usually aggravates my allergies, as well as celery and herbs. I purchased this to help me chop and dice easier. It does a great job. It makes great smoothies too! I have found that I leave the ice to melt a bit first. Then there aren't chunks of ice. I love my ninja
I have had a ninja just like this for 4yrs. I use it everyday. I make baby food, pie crust, salsa, fruit smoothies, cut up cooked chicken, cut up vegis, you name it. I choose this version bc it doesn't have to sit on my counter. I put it in a cupboard that is just the right size to store everything. I like being able to choose what ever size pitcher I need when cooking. Id recommend this to anyone. In fact my Mom bought my Sister one for Christmas! She loves it!
