Enjoy an afternoon of nostalgic gaming when playing on this Nintendo GameCube console. More than 600 games were released for the system, including Nintendo favorites, like Mario Kart and Pokémon. This was the first Nintendo console to use optical discs rather than cartridges. This Nintendo GameCube console is a rich spice orange color and makes for a festive addition to any living room or media room. The console is a compact cube shape. It also has a handle attached to it, so you can easily take the GameCube to a friend’s house to share the fun. There are four ports that you can plug GameCube controllers into for an exciting multiplayer gaming experience. You can use controllers in all kinds of fun colors including indigo, platinum, black, emerald blue, and of course, spice orange. With two memory card slots built into the GameCube, you can also easily save and transfer your data. There is a diverse variety of games available for the GameCube. This means that regardless of your gaming preferences, you can easily find something that will keep you happily occupied for hours. For example, you can get a number of GameCube games from Nintendo that feature the famous Super Mario. Multiplayer games like “Super Smash Bros Melee” allow you to compete against your friends. With so many options available, it's easy to get lost in the many levels of a whimsical Mario World or engage in a race against Mario's friends and enemies. Set out on an adventurous journey with one of the many Zelda games designed for this Nintendo console. There are four installments of the series that were created for the GameCube, including “The Ocarina of Time,” “The Wind Waker,” “Twilight Princess,” and “Four Swords Adventures.” Several of the games were compiled onto one disk, titled “The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition.” This classic action-adventure series follows the protagonist and main playable character, Link. He embarks on a quest to save a princess from the kingdom of Hyrule.

    A Great Buy, However...

    the first Controller Port is the only one that work without having to tamper with the console. I have to use rubberbands to hold controllers 2-4 is specofic directions in order for them to function. Also, the console is not compatible with the gba disc. This may be because the console is an american console, and cannot run the japan exclusive disc. I thought it would have the japanese playability but apperantly not. Otherwise the console still is still functionable.

    They are older games,

    They are, of coarse, the original pokemon games, so the graphics are not as good as they are now, but for me they are just an awesome trip down memory lane and I love having these gems in my collection. They do work on US Gameboy Advance SPs (I haven't tried them on any other systems) of coarse the games only play in Japanese. And have Gameboy and Gameboy Color graphics.
