great robust and stable workstation!
great sun box to run solaris on. inexpensive. pci and ide device compatibility in a true sun ultrasparc workstation. very solid and stable platform for development or publishing. integrated graphics run lcd monitors fine with a standard 15 pin vga connection. requires sun's proprietary mouse and keyboard. ps/2 or usb will not work. must be sun's 8-pin mini-din keyboard and mouse connection. they are still easy to find but expensive and going higher.

I bought one of these hoping to try out solaris and ended up running openbsd, while this machine is a bit old they nailed serial tty to the wall with these things since i lack a keyboard mouse and monitor for it i was able to boot and install the os through putty in windows, this makes a great learner hopefully someday i can learn solaris on it.
