Uke banjo playing senior citizen woth a new trick
I learned ukelele. So I could play it as soon as it arrived. I let my friend play it with a bluegrass group and it was awesome. She asked me where I got it. She loved it. Well made. Loud. Super fun easy to learn. No brainer for uke players. And now you'll be seen and heard. Never thought I could play a banjo. This bamjolele sounds authentic and is easy to play with it's gcea tuning. Ukelele players its time to accompany those guitar players with the super sound of a banjolele by deering. I am an official accordian/ banjo player. I'm so proud of me. Good job Deering. Thank you.

Great Fun Instrument
I was looking for a small travel instrument. I play guitar and banjo and have built several 4/5 stringed instruments. Naturally this is a little heavier than a standard concert uke and sounds much more like a true banjo played above the 5 fret. It does appear to be well made and the accessories are a great plus including the gig bag, neck strap and tuner with extra strings. The only bad part is the learning curve for the uke chords when you have so much experience with other instrument chord tunings. Even if it becomes just a wall decoration, it is really cool and so far a fun challenge. Currently some vendors are offering the package at under $80. Great price for something so uniquely different.
